Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Mongkok by IHG

Hotel's security is good. Front desk staff were very helpful, patient and professional. In particular, I would like to single out one of the staff, Tony, who is at the front desk who helped with calling for cabs during our stay. Room was clean. The housekeeping staff was good and professional. Bottled water and packaged beverages were regularly replenished. The mattress and bedding were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is reasonable and staff attending to diners were attentive and professional. Location is good with plenty of eateries , malls and markets around the vicinity which is a good way to see the traditional and modern side of Hong Kong. A small urban park makes for good walking in the evening.

Hotel location is very good, near Nathan Road and Mongkok and Yau Ma Tei MTR stations. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Stationed cleaning staff on our floor would even knock politely and remind us to close our room door properly as it wasn't closed reall well at that time. They obviously care for every customer's safety. Staff were very nice, helpful and would smile and greet you at entrance. I booked the wrong date but the guy at reception told me to contact booking.com's customer service as I was ready to let go of my wrong booking date and rebook a new one disregarding the whole fee deduction, but the receptionist guy insisted that I still call customer service. My issue was handled very well, only took 10 minutes to resolve.

The room was well-cleaned and quiet. Walking distance to the convenience store and 8 minutes away from Yau Ma Tei station.

Very clean and tidy. Stayed at room 601. It has a nice view of the road and buildings. Enough space for us. Very relaxing space after a whole day of roaming around. 10 mins walk to mongkok or YTM station and 15mins to Olympic station.

Breakfast selection was great. The front desk manager was very helpful. He did not want to take any tips which was much appreciated with the storage of our luggage. He gave us a lift tag so we could go to the toilets before the taxi ride to the airport. A very thoughtful and nice man.
